• Char developments since time in Deerington:

Appearance: cw eye trauma He has sustained a permanent injury to his left eye that leaves it white/unusable, with parts of the brow/eyelid shredded. There are a few lingering scars along the sides of his face.

Attitude: The constant inability to make positive changes to the world in a macro or micro level has done ongoing damage to his ego; being repeatedly denied and emasculated without purpose or even regard that he's even there has fueled a lot of frustration and self-loathing, as well as a dread that he is failing to live up to the standards of those who have come before him.
While he may be cut free from his home universe, knowing it'll spin on without him is as much a comfort as it is a further salting of the wounds on his psyche: if he doesn't matter there, how can he matter here. It's in direct conflict with the feeling of purpose that drives him to keep trying.

Ambitions: While previously his goal was to discover how to get everyone safely free from Deerington, this being his new world means his focus shall be on making things better long-term. Either way, he's unable to go comfortably with the flow, because he's always compelled to work hard and do his best.
